Three killed within two hours in Islamabad violence

ISLAMABAD: Different firing incidents that occurred in the federal capital within two hours, left three people including a one-and-half year infant dead; the protesters blocked Expressway, SAMAA reported Saturday.

Some unidentified motorcyclist miscreants sprayed bullets on people standing outside Madinatul Ilm seminary located near Khanna bridge in the limit of Shehzad Town Police Station.

The three injured were immediately transported to PIMS Hospital where seminary administrator Qari Arif and a passer-by Muhammed Darvesh succumbed to injuries. A seminary student Shakirullah is  being given medical treatment for his critical wounds.

Protesting against the armed attack, angry demonstrators staged sit-in at Islamabad Expressway, triggering immense traffic backup.

The second incident took place in F-10, where unidentified miscreants opened fire, critically injuring Mirwaiz and his one-year infant. The injured were rushed to PIMS Hospital, where the child succumbed to his gunshot injuries.

Mirwaiz is stated to be in precarious condition. 

According to police sources, Mirwaiz, along with his son, was on his way to market where motorcyclist saboteurs targeted him. 

Sanguinary occurrences within two hours rattled the police officials in the federal capital. Meantime, sensitive agencies kick-started probe into the two incidents.
