Revaluation of Rupee


In comparison with American dollar, Pakistani rupee has been revalued and there has been an appreciation. In the open market, one dollar has fallen down to 108 rupees and 50 paisas. According to the dealers due to frequent transaction, the value of rupee has been appreciated. However, dollar remains at 108 rupee and 55 paisas within interbank transactions. According to the experts, for improving the value of rupee there is a need to have massive increase in exports.
